    The Magic Shrinking Cup - Shrink Pots For Beginners

    Making shrink pots is a great, straightforward green woodworking project that relies on the magic of wet-dry joinery. After hollowing a wet round, you let it shrink as it loses moisture, trapping a dry solid-wood bottom within.

    We have two class options for this youth class: March 6th at 4:30 or March 20th at 5:30. This class is three hours long an requires a medium amount of strength and resilience to complete. For ages 8+ $45

    Tuesday 3:30-5:30

    Industrial Arts classes at HOD build a higher level mechanical skills through detailed projects during a semester long program.

  • Tuesday Night Community Project Requests

    Tuesday Evenings 5:30-7:30

    Come and build something great for our community while learning or improving on your woodworking abilities. Open to the public with no registration needed.

    We love to work with your child to help develop hard and soft transferable skills that will prepare them for life. These sessions incorporate literacy skills, math, science, and a heavy emphasis on technical education.
