Classes for 5 to 11 Year Olds


  • Race Cars

    Saturday Race Cars - 5yrs +

    April 6th - 9am till Noon

    Once a month we will be running a Saturday morning race car clinic where you and and your child can build a race car from scratch and race it on our indoor track. Think pine wood derby on steroids. Design.Build.Race $15 Per Person

  • Weekday EMS - 5yrs+

    For 2024 we are starting with a Monday 10am class, Tuesday 12:30pm & 3:30 class, and a Wednesday 10am class with two teachers in for each time slot so that we can accommodate ages 5 -11 during every class. This also allows us to raise the maximum registrations to 12 students in every class, and accommodate a range of ages. Each class is $35 (2hrs). There are two main payment options for registration: Semester Pay In Full $665 (5% Discount) or recurring monthly subscription. The monthly subscriptions can be purchased through our website, and a semester can be purchased by emailing us.

  • Saturday Morning EMS - 5yrs+ w/ Parents

    ELEMENTARY MECHANICAL SKILLS on Saturdays from 10am-12pm.

    January 13&27, February 10&24, March 9&23, April 6&20, and May 4&20.

    Our EMS program is project based, and on average each weekend project consists of 2 classes meeting every other Saturday for one month to complete that project. The base project idea is similar for all ages, but projects are adapted to meet the skill level of each student so that all ages are challenged appropriately.

  • Elementary Mechanical Skills (EMS)

    Overview: The Elementary Mechanical Skills class provides children with hands-on learning experiences in woodworking, math, mechanics, and design.

    Student Goals:

    1. Problem-solving skills: Our program require children to think creatively and strategically in order to solve problems.

    2. Fine motor skills: Our program can help children to develop their fine motor skills, which are important for hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

    3. Spatial reasoning skills: Our program can help children to develop their spatial reasoning skills, which are important for understanding the relationship between objects in space.

    4. Creativity: Our program can help children to be creative and to think outside of the box.

    5. Attention span: Our program can help children to develop their attention span, which is important for learning and focus.

    This year we are starting with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday classes that will have a two teachers so that we can accommodate ages 5 -11 during every class. This also allows us to raise the maximum registrations to 12 students in every class.

    Our program is project based, and on average each project consists of four classes meeting once a week for one month to complete that project. Each semester has on average 4 projects. .

    Each class is $35 (2hrs). There are two main payment options for registration: Semester Pay In Full $665 (5% Discount) or recurring monthly subscription. We require seven students registered for each class in order to run the class, but we have a select number of scholarships available for those families who need a little help. Scholarships cover 50% of the class registration fee.

    CURRENT CLASSES ARE: Monday 10am-12pm, Tuesday 12:30-2:30, and Wednesday 10am-12pm

  • Community Boat Building

    This event is every Monday evening from 5:30-7:30pm and is for both youth and adults.

    Projects vary from week to week, but adults have many opportunities to experience the incredible craft of boat building and restoration. We currently have a few boat builds/rebuilds underway and there is something new to experience each and every week.

    For youth we are currently building the Sailing Surfboard. This youth focused part of our Monday night program requires a parent or a guardian to be present

    $5 per session. For ages 5yrs to Adults. (All children must be accompanied by a parent.)

    We encourage registration, but walk-ins are always welcome.

We love to work with your child to help develop hard and soft transferable skills that will prepare them for life. These sessions incorporate literacy skills, math, science, and a heavy emphasis on technical education.
