Lamps are so much fun to make. This kit goes together in two parts: The base and the shade. The base material is ponderosa pine and is glued together with titebond wood glue using rubber bands and/or threaded rod and wing nuts. Then the upright and boom arm are bolted on. The shade is made from Japanese rice paper, and is shaped based on our custom designed with the included template. You can decorate the shade however you see fit, and then you seal it in modge podge. We also include a non stick mat and brush to finish your shade.
Recommended for ages 5+ with supervision. There is a how to video for all our kits. All products are made to order and we do our best to get your order out in a few days.
